You'll Never Guess What This Celeb's Dress Is Made From!!!

The annual Met Gala was held last night. This year’s theme was Manus x Machina: Fashion in an Age of Technology. As usual, the outfits worn by the attendees did not disappoint! One celebrity in particular donned an especially unique and beautiful dress.

Actress Claire Danes was glowing- quite literally! She wore a gorgeous blue gown made of organza that had fiber optic lights sewn into it. In the dark, the dress looked like stars glowing in the night sky. This stunning dress was created by fashion designer Zac Posen.

Model Karolína Kurková wore a similar dress. Her dress was made with LED lights that lit up and changed colors based on the emotions of viewers reacting to the Met Gala via Twitter. Georgina Chapman and Keren Craig created the dress and embedded it with IBM Watson technology. The LED lights change in real time based on five key emotions the technology searches for on social media including: passion, curiosity, joy, encouragement, excitement.
