If you’re at all into EDM (Electronic Dance Music), you’ve no doubt heard of breakout star Avicii, thanks to smash hits like “Wake Me Up”. According to Forbes, Tim Berling, also known as Avicii, is the No. 6 world’s highest paid DJ, earning a cool $20 million last year (No. 1 was Calvin Harris, for all you inquiring minds).
And it looks like the 24 year old Swede spent a good chunk of that payday snagging an absolutely stunning Hollywood Hills mansion. The price tag? A cool $15.75 mil. Thankfully, the Pinnacle List was kind enough to share these jaw-dropping pics of the home’s interior with the rest of us mere mortals.
This 7007 square foot two-story home overlooks a steep inline about the Sunset Strip. The original owner of the home was beauty industry mogul Bruno Mascolo – who oversees the American division of UK’s hairdressing brand: Toni & Guy. The pad boasts seven bedrooms and seven bathrooms, along with a glass-walled bridge spanning a swimming pool. The master bedroom itself offers a million dollar view of Los Angeles, with two walls made entirely of glass.
As far as we’re concerned, this young man has earned it, with our industry sources citing that the DJ has a relentless work ethic. It’s always good to reward yourself with the finer things in life once in a while, and we’re glad to see Avicii has invested his hard earned money into property. It’s definitely a wiser choice than Deadmau5’s decision to buy a Ferrari wrapped in Nyan Cat graphics….
For the uninitiated, the man Avicii:
