Rickman was a highly respected actor who starred in some of the most memorable roles in movie history. Rickman may be most well known for his role as Severus Snape in the Harry Potter movies. He was also well known for his roles as Hans Gruber in Die Hard, Metatron in Dogman and more. He leaves behind his wife, Rima Horton, who he married in 2012. However, they had been together since 1965. As we remember Alan today, we reflect on some of the most beloved and memorable characters he played throughout his years as an actor.
