Love animals? Then, you will most likely enjoy this story. College campuses are fun, active places that seem to be endlessly full of life. From the students, faculty members, and the creatures that roam around the campus, there is life all around. It is not uncommon to see various animals such as birds, chipmunks, rabbits, and squirrels throughout college campuses. These animals appear to grow accustomed to being close to humans, and to sometimes being fed by humans. Most college students pay minimal attention to the creatures that surround them on their college campus. But, one Penn State University student has befriended the squirrels on her campus. That’s right, Mary Krupa, a “squirrel whisperer” at Penn State is not only a friend to the squirrels, she is a personal stylist for them too! Check out Sneezy the Penn State Squirrel.
She dresses the Penn State squirrels and gives them props to hold onto while she snaps funny squirrel pictures for her Sneezy the Squirrel facebook page! As a result of Mary’s squirrel antics, she has been featured on NPR and Good Morning America. One particular squirrel, Sneezy, is the star of many of Mary’s photos. Mary says that Sneezy is one of the friendliest, most laid-back squirrels on campus. Sneezy is no longer just popular on Penn State’s campus, she is famous around the world! In particular, Asian and European countries are wild about Sneezy! She has been on the cover of magazines and newspaper. At this point, you are probably dying to see a picture of Sneezy the Penn State Squirrel. We are going to show you some pictures, but we also found a video of Mary and Sneezy for you to check out!
