Last year, Nick Gordon sat down with Dr. Phil to discuss what had happened to his girlfriend, Bobbi Kristina Brown. If you recall, Bobbi was found face down in a bathtub in January 2015 just like her famous mother, Whitney Houston, back in 2012.
After spending several months in a coma, Bobbi Kristina passed away in July 2015 at the age of 22. During last year’s interview with Dr. Phil, Nick was noticeably intoxicated and in need of help.

Dr. Phil assisted in staging a much needed intervention for Nick. After a stint in rehab, Nick recently was interviewed by Dr. Phil again. During his interview, Nick claimed that he and Bobbi both struggled with drug and alcohol abuse even before Whitney died.
However, they used drugs socially at that point. Nick mentioned that their drug usage increased after Whitney’s death and served as a way to cope with her loss.

Nick’s relationship with Bobbi Kristina was controversial for several reasons. Initially, he was more like a brother figure to her because he was raised by Whitney Houston. Bobbi Kristina previously described him as being like a big brother to her.
As they got older, they became romantically involved. At one point, Bobbi claimed that they had gotten married, although her father’s attorney disputed that. After she was found face down in the bathtub, many members of her family blamed Nick for the tragedy.
Bobbi Kristina’s famous father, Bobby Brown, continues to blame Nick for what happened to his daughter. Some people believe that Nick gave her drugs and placed her in the bathtub.
Others believe she was trying to emulate her mother’s death. The truth about what happened to Bobbi Kristina may never be known. However, in Nick’s recent interview he claims he did nothing but care for her and make her as happy as possible.
